This half day event is designed to help you understand how shooting in High Definition is effecting costume and wardrobe departments.
It will encompass a practical look at HD including an explanation of terms used in relation to it and will give participants the confidence to work on productions being shot in this new medium.
This event has been funded by the Skillset Film Skills Fund as part of “A Bigger Future 2″ the UK films skills strategy. The Skillset Film Skills Fund is supported by the National Lottery through the BFI and the film industry through the Skills Investment Fund (SIF).

The aim of this pioneering event is to increase your understanding of the effects shooting in high definition can have on costume and wardrobe. This training event is also being offered in London on November 12th 2011.
The day will provide the opportunity to learn more about how the camera reacts to different fabrics and examine the implications for costume and wardrobe practices in a relaxed atmosphere.Industry professionals wishing to further their knowledge of the HD effect should attend this innovative event.NB: Attendees on this course will require at least two credits working in the film industry or a reference from an industry professional for un-credited work.This is an important requirement for this course.
